:(
Well, last thurs took 1/2d, brought him to Namly Clinic as he has trouble breathing, or rather, been panting too hard.
As he was too stressed up, thus not able to take a proper x-ray.
But vet mentioned his heart n lungs looks enlarged.
Thus for the time being, can only take medication with injection of Lasix.
Today, brought him back to the clinic to take a proper X-ray, just to check and ensure how is the current situation.
X-ray result comes out..not too good.
Saw some black thingy (like tumours) in his heart.
Also heart enlarged, or rather, could be big heart. Though seems either the lining has inflamed or there fluid in the heart.
To get a better diagnose, will need to do a cardio ECG aka heart ultrasound.
So far, only Mt. Pleasant has this facility though vet says can consider trying ARC.
Had called up ARC, they have too, but the vet-in-charge of the ultrasound on indefinite MC.
So … will ask Namly to fax the referral letter over, and see how.
Meanwhile, will do some checks on Mt Pleasant (Well, somehow, mixed reviews there lor)
My poor darling.
Now though didn’t pant too hard, but when abit agitated, will wheeze as well.
Well, if after ultrasound and shows, really there’s fluid build-up, can do a small op (requires light sedation though) to remove the fluid.
Though, the problem will come back again.
Haiz.
He’s coming to 11. Not really old right?
At times, i feel, if i not so KS, bring him see vet to check if he has heart murmor (as his mom had and died of heart failure), will he be better without the medication?
Guess, no point looking backward (as there’s nothing we can do since already over), but to look toward the present and future, and see what I can do, what the vets can do to make him feel better.
If doing all the above can make him feel better, i wont mind.
Just worried he will get overly stressed and that wont be good to his condition.
As the above, all takes some risks.. a chance he might … collapse?
